PROJECT SPACE

Project Space provides emerging photographers a dedicated space to present images and share ideas at Paris Photo New York. Realizing that at the beginning of their careers, most young artists do not have access to platforms or communities that allow their work to be seen, Paris Photo New York seeks to break this barrier, allowing them space to share and engage in dialogue with each other, visitors, collectors, gallerists or curators. Discover new programming daily with a rotating exhibition of works, participatory projects, and interventions by local emerging artists from various New York-based organizations including non-profit and public benefit art spaces dedicated to supporting and furthering the careers of emerging artists. The Project Space will culminate with Photo Slam, an event organized by Antwaun Sargent that allows artists to share their unique perspectives through short presentations on their work.
